To find quality articles, use the TCU Library electronic article databases.

  1. Go to the TCU Library website https://library.tcu.edu
  2. Click on the Databases tab
  3. Here you can browse the databases by subject.
  4. Click on a subject category.
  5. Databases recommended for that subject will display. Best Bets Databases are the databases you want to try first
  6. Click on the title of a specific database to begin searching in that database.

To find a specific article in hardcopy, use the TCU Library Catalog.

  1. Go to the TCU Library website https://library.tcu.edu
  2. Click on the Catalog tab
  3. To find a specific article, you will need to look up the journal, newspaper, or magazine title.
  4. Type in the name of the journal, newspaper, or magazine in the search box.
    Example: Renaissance Quarterly
  5. Select Journal name begins with…(skip a/an/the) from the drop menu.
  6. Click Search.
  7. Browse to the entry that matches the publication you need.
  8. Click on that item's link to view the TCU Library holdings information for that publication.
  9. Be sure to write down the publication's call number and view its Location map so you know where it is located in the building.
