Currently the best way to find popular films supplementing foreign language study is to search the TCU Library’s “Media Library” DVD/VHS video collection using the TCU Library catalog.

  • To find available films in any language click this search link. To find all foreign language films, select “Call Number” from the Index drop-down box and “Video (any format);” type PN1995.9 F67 into the search box. Sort results by Title/Year (descending) to put the film list in alphabetical order by title.

  • To find films in a specific language do a Words anywhere (keyword) search for original film soundtrack <language> with “Video (any format)” selected. Sort results by Title/Year (descending) to put the film list in alphabetical order by title. For example:

Note that your chosen film title may be checked out; click "More Information" in the catalog record to determine this and, if it's checked out, to request that item.

The Video Resources Guide is available for more details and helpful hints.
