Audio/visual items should only be returned INSIDE the library building. They are too fragile to use the outside bookdrops.

Audio/visual items should be returned to the Music/Media Library on the second floor of the library building (map). If returned upstairs, the items will be checked back in immediately and reshelved. If you would like to renew an audio/visual item, it must not have any holds on it. Newer video items will frequently have multiple holds and will not be renewable.

You may also return audio/visual items in the inside drop box at the desk at the west (University Dr.) entrance of the Library, or at the Library Services desk on the 2nd floor (map). However, if audio/visual items are returned to the Library Services desk, they will be placed in the Music/Media Library Returns basket and not checked in until someone retrieves the basket. This basket is checked 2-3 times daily. Actual check in could be the following day depending on when the item is returned.
