The Curriculum Collection is maintained by the TCU Library in cooperation with the TCU School of Education and is shelved as a separate collection at the west end of the library's first floor . This collection, intended for the use of TCU students enrolled in elementary and secondary education courses, provides materials needed for teacher certification. The collection includes textbooks currently in-adoption by the Texas State Board of Education (for those subjects in which TCU offers teaching certification) and frequently-used textbooks that are not in-adoption, plus a selection of children's periodicals and reference materials. Though not officially part of the Curriculum Collection, a large gathering of juvenile fiction and nonfiction books are conveniently located on shelves near the Curriculum area.
