I agree to accept fiscal responsibility for the cost of repairs or replacement of items damaged, lost or stolen while checked out in my name.
I have read and agree to abide by the following policies of the Mary Couts Burnett Library at Texas Christian University:
- Laptops should be connected to the TCU Lab Wireless network when on campus. If the Lab Wireless network is unavailable, they can also connect to EDUroam.
- Windows laptops and chargers can be checked out for a maximum of four days, and are due back by midnight on the due date. The five Mac laptops are only available for four-hour loans, and don't include a charger. Although laptops, chargers, and bags can be checked out again after being returned, this service is not intended as a semester-long loan - it is not a substitute for purchasing your own computer. Rather it is intended to fill a temporary need when your computer is out for repair, or you were not able to bring it to campus for some other reason. The library does not have enough laptops to provide semester-long loans as a substitute for owning a personal computer.
- Return borrowed keys and equipment to an employee at the Access Services Desk, and be sure it is checked back in before you leave.
